FREE REIKI TREATMENTS

To start, I just wanted to say, writing this was emotional for me, it has been a hard year and feeling very helpless with not being able to help Dillon until now. As a mom, it was the worst feeling not being able to take it all away when they are struggling. I think i needed to write this for me, to get over my guilt, to inspire ME to not stop doing Reiki! To believe in it! I keep questioning myself and the results. Dillon is my blessing to show me that maybe all this time I wasn't so helpless in being able to help him, I just had to "see it" to "believe it". His big bear hugs each time I told him he's gotten distant Reiki by someone will forever be validation for me.

My 9 year old son, was diagnosis in August of 2018 with adrenal insufficiency due to a rare reaction from asthma steroid medication. The progression of adrenal insufficiency is a slow process, for my son we suspect it took a year and half to present the obvious decline of his adrenal glands. The symptoms that spurred us to have him checked out was the rapid weight gain, he gained 10 pounds within in three weeks, on top of the additional weight gain over the previous year. He had the “typical” look that people have with this condition, puffy round face, puffy neck, apple shape body, but skinny arms and legs. He constantly craved salt and had uncontrollable eating. He would tell me he didn’t know how to stop eating and when I asked him why he was so upset all the time, he didn’t know why. He was depressed, sad, would get overly emotional especially towards anger, flat out fatigued, no energy, his skin was grey in color, his eyes were dull (not his sparkling blue), he could not process memory or thoughts correctly. In school he was struggling with being bullied and was struggling with learning. The breaking point for him was the day he had his first adrenal crisis, he came home from school and literally crashed on the couch and could not move, his body basically had no stress hormone to handle the stress of “life”. Once we knew what was happening, he was taken off all steroid asthma medication. His daily treatment plan was to keep his stress low, keep him from getting sick, and just watch and wait (with only an Cortisol” EPI-type” injection for if he went into adrenal crisis). He was no longer on any medications and his body had to recover naturally to reawaken his adrenal glands on their own. He had a relapse adrenal crisis in December 2018 that took a month for him to recover from with medication and the process had to start over again. The process to get your adrenal glands to wake up is a very slow process and could take up towards a year or more to see cortisol levels move towards normal range.
In February 2019, my son started to receive reiki sporadically by me as I become a reiki student. Reiki was the only “treatment” that he was given with this watch and see method for his recovery. It helped with keeping his stress levels low so that it was not so taxing and with my sporadic reiki sessions, it showed progress with his overall health. His 6 month check-up showed that he was on the right track and he lost weight and grew two inches! He was still having some problems handling his emotions but he was able to control his internal ability with knowing when to stop eating when full.
In July 2019, I requested him to be a volunteer to receive reiki from other practicing students as my intuition told me he needed it more than just me to give him the boost!
Dillon received 5 distant reiki sessions from students over a course of a couple weeks in July and it gave him the boost that he needed. His energy level spiked, he is happier, clearer headed, and now is being more proactive in wanting to participate in just “life”. His speech has become clearer, he is able to think clearly to what he wants to say and be able to articulate it so we can understand it. I am noticing that he is laughing more and telling jokes again. His skin color is a healthy color and his blue eyes are sparkling, no longer dull. His attitude changed dramatically from depressed and anger to just happiness, confidence. He is spontaneous and willing to try things that before he said was too stupid. He jumps up and is running around being active. I am seeing more of the sweet happy boy from long ago in such a short period of time. I told him that he received distant reiki, he looks at me like not fully understanding how it all works but I tell him that he received it, asks him how he feels, he always says he feels great and then hugs me. And just recently he sat down with me and was for the first time on his own will curious as to what reiki was all about! Before he would tell me that it was stupid and would turn away from wanting to know what it is. The reiki boost he is receiving is exactly what was needed to put that spark of life back, we are still on the road to recovery but it doesn’t seem such a long road any more. I am confident at his next checkup in the fall he will be a healthy full of life 10 year old!

The IEM session did have significant benefits. Today's session was unbelievably trans-formative. I haven't felt this alive and awake in years. A foreign feeling of peacefulness and relaxed in my own body has overtaken me! Thank you for taking all the extra time today to send me out the door in complete harmony with myself. As everyone who knows me would agree, you don't hear the words, "I feel fantastic" come out of my mouth. I am gently commanding all my bodies to hold this resonance so I can wake up feeling just as great tomorrow! Much gratitude and appreciation for the light you shine into this world.
