Eliminate insomnia
An simple a quick way to eliminate insomnia is to follow these four easy steps while sitting of laying down. As this is to releive discomfort if you feel pain discontinue
Hold each position until you fell a pulse. If you cannot feel a pulse hold for about 2 minutes.

  1. Wrap your Left hand around your thumd with your Right hand and hold until you feel a pulse then swith to other hand.
  2. Place the tip of your finger on either side of your upper neck under occipital bones. Again hold until you feel a pulse
  3. Place your Left hand on the Right base of your neck close to the spine
    and your Right hand on your lower Left cheek bone. Then reverse.
  4. Wrap your left ring finger with your right hand and wait for pulse. Then reverse.
    Hold your right ring finger with your Left hand and hold until you feela pulse.

To maximize the result, exhale, drop your shoulders, smile and naturally inhale as you hold each thumb. Many people do multiples of 9 exhalations and inhalation up to 36 times per thumb.

 


Self help for Headache reliefheadache
Our purpuse is to move energy downward and away from the head. So the simplest method is to use holds or flows that encourage energy to descend toward the toes. Remember that headaches in Jin Shin Jyutsu can be the result of our inability to digest on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level. If you feel increase pain discontinue
Hold each position until you fell a pulse. If you cannot feel a pulse hold for about 2 minutes.

  1. Hold the base of your thumbs including the pad of the thumb with one hand and the other until you feel a pulse (or hold for 2 minutes if pulse is not detected).
  2. Place thumbs or finger or fingers on LEFT and RIGHT base of skull,
    sitting down, standing or lying down.
  3. Just quietly hold the left and right groins
    and in a few minutes, more or less, one can feel
  4. Place left finger(s) on base of right cheek bone
    and place right finger(s) at center of right collar bone
    Hold for 2-3 minutes to feel pulse or until the tension/stress begins to melt away
    in any head discomforts disapears
  5. Left finger stays, right finger(s) slide down about 2 inches
    to base of left ribcage

 

 


Self Help to improve vision and eye healtheye

For each position; hold until you feel a pulse (or hold for 2 minutes if pulse is not detected).
  1. Hold your middle fingers (left then right hand, or vice versa.

  2. Then hold your middle toes in the same way, or together at the same time.

  3. Place thumbs or finger or fingers on LEFT and RIGHT base of skull, sitting
    down, standing till you feel pulses on both sides.

  4. Cup hands over eyes, covering dots (SELS) on the forehead
    till you feel pulses on both sides.

 

 

To maximize the result, exhale, drop your shoulders, smile and naturally inhale as you hold each digit. Many people do multiples of 9 exhalations and inhalations, up to 36 times per thumb/finger/toe, which brings you toward a feeling of wholeness and integration. You can do this breathing practice with any of the exercises below

 

 

 


THE 36 BREATHS
The simplest and most important SELF-HELP tool we have is our BREATH - The EXHALE and the INHALE. When we exhale consciously and deeply, we release tension and stress. When we inhale naturally, we receive an abundance of life energy. This life energy connects our body, mind, and spirit. A good formula isto:

EXHALE; DROP YOUR SHOULDERS AND SMILE

Simply and consciously exhale while dropping your shoulders as if they are touching your feet. The smile comes naturally as you release and gently welcome the inhalation.
Each day use this formula to EXHALE consciously and INHALE naturally, 36 breaths. You can do this all at once or you can do 9 complete exhales and inhales four times per day.


HOLDING YOUR FINGERS36 breath
Another exercise is to gently wrap one hand around your other hands’ thumb and each finger individually and then hold the palm. Hold each finger, thumb, and palm for at least 2 minutes apiece or longer. You can choose which hand you want to hold or do both. (See the images above.)
The fingers and palms have energy connections to our mind, body and spirit. Alternatively, you can do both exercises together as well… the 36 Breaths while holding your fingers and palms. While you hold each finger and palm, place your awareness on 6 complete breaths and then move to the next finger/position and rep
